Vepachedu Educational Foundation Inc. established Sri Gopalkishanrao
Vepachedu Memorial Annual Lectures
at Andhra Pradesh Academy of Sciences. The first lecture was delivered
by founder's PhD guide and mentor Dr. Jhillu Singh Yadav,
Director of the Indian Institute of
Chemical Technology on January 23, 2004. Funds for this annual lecture
were provided by the founder, Dr. Sreenivasarao Vepachedu. For more

here. Annual Lectures at Kakatiya University, Warangal Vepachedu Educational Foundation Inc. (VEFI) established “VEFI - Venkataramayya and Lalithamma Kandukuri Memorial Lecture" beginning in 2008 at Kaktiya University, Warangal. This annual lecture will be on November 15th every year. Funds for this annual lecture were provided by the founder's mother, Mrs. Satyavathidevi Vepachedu in memory of her parents Venkataramayya and Lalithamma Kandukuri. Dr. Vasantha Madhava Sharma Gangavaram (Dr. G. V. M. Sharma, Deputy Director, IICT, Hyderabad), the Vice President of VEFI, is the coordinator of all the programs and lectures established by VEFI. |

Donation VEFI has donated one lakh rupees for the year 2004 to Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Kancheepuram to support Vedic Schools and Sankara Eye Institute. In 2007, an amount of $ 1610 was donated to Sankara Eye Foundation, USA. Funds were provided by the founder. A good number of Veda Patasalas have been established by the Matth wherein different sakhas of Veda are being taught. Apart from Veda Patasalas, seventeen Oriental schools and thirty-eight Sankara Schools are functioning in different parts of the country under the guidance of the Math. Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam runs hospitals at different places, which includes the Kamakoti Child Trust Hospital in Madras, Eye Hospitals at Coimbatore and Guwahati, hospitals at Madhubani (Bihar), Rathura for tribals (Uttranchal), Berhampur (Orissa) Hindu Mission Hospitals in many places in Tamil Nadu. |
