Jagannadhaswami Paranandi (1886-?)
Jagannadhaswami Paranandi (1886-?) was born in Parlakimidi on November 11, 1886. His father, Ramasastri Paranandi, was a famous philosopher and writer. His mother was Venkatamahalaksmi.
He was a Sanskrit pundit and taught at Parlakimidi King's College as a lecturer and principal. He was interested in psychic research and wrote a small book on Psychical Research Society. He wrote several philosophical and scientific articles in various journals. His works include laimgika vaaasana, vaasanala paraspara prabhaavamu, suseelaaroopasulu, saavitri, samujwalaanaa, parinaama siddhaamtamu, swaatamtryamu, maanasaswabhaavamu, swapnamulu, Warfare in Ancient India, Influence of Environment on Body and Mind, etc.
