Award

Sri Gopalkishanrao Vepachedu Memorial Award is an annual award consisting of a silver plaque, a cash prize and a certificate to the best senior research fellow of IICT. The Vepachedu Educational Foundation has donated an amount of Indian Rs. 105,000.00* as an endowment which is kept in a fixed deposit by the IICT in a separate bank account, opened and operated by the Head, Research Mangement Area of the IICT. A committee is formed for the smooth operation of this scheme. This committee includes the Head, Research Mangement Area of IICT and the Vice President of the Vepachedu Educational Foundation.

1) The first Sri Gopalkishanrao Vepachedu Memorial Award was presented on September 26, 2003 (CSIR foundation day) during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the IICT.
